Orfeo Mandozzi will teach at the summeracademy Festspelen i Pieta in Sweden from June 15th until Junie 20th 2012.

Besides he will perform at the opening concert of the festival. Together with Ulf Wallin (Violin) he will play the Brahms Double Concerto for Violin, Violoncello and Orchestra on June 15th.

Am 20. Mai 2012 wird Orfeo Mandozzi das Cellokonzert von Jospeh Haydn mit der Jungen Süddeutschen Philharmonie in Esslingen am Neckar spielen.

Bei diesem Konzert handelt es sich um ein Festkonzert für Burundi, das Baden-Württemberg durch partnerschaftliche Beziehungen eng verbunden ist. Das Benefiz des Abends kommt ohne Abzug von Verwaltungskosten Projekten in Burundi zugute.

Die Junge Süddeutsche Philharmonie Esslingen unter der Leitung von Professor Andreas Kraft spielt folgendes Programm:
Arturo Márquez: Danzón No. 2
Joseph Haydn: Konzert Nr. 1 für Cello und Orchester in C-Dur
Solist: Orfeo Mandozzi
Peter Tschaikowsky: Sinfonie Nr. 4 f-moll op. 36

Vom 21. April bis zum 2. Mai 2012 wird Orfeo Mandozzi beim Youth Classics International Festival and Masterclasses auf Schloss Hallenburg unterrichten.

„YOUTH CLASSICS“ wurde 2011 gegründet, und setzt mit seinen „International Masterclasses“ die erfolgreiche Arbeit der „Internationalen Musikwoche Montepulciano“ aus den den Jahren 2010 und 2011 fort. Die im Frühjahr stattfindende Woche wird im November durch einem Galakonzert in Zürich mit ausgewählten Studenten ergänzt.
